Inventory Control

The module that tracks your inventory and associated costs.
  • I/C Files.
    • Inventory Item File.
      • View Screen(s)
      • Records information about the inventory items that your company sells.
      • Unlimited number of inventory items.
      • Detailed history of all transactions.
      • Supports average, standard, LIFO, and FIFO costing.
      • Tracks the quantity in stock, on order, committed, and in production for each warehouse as well as totals for all warehouses.
      • Records 5 retail and 5 sale prices. These prices are used by the price code system to calculate the actual price a particular customer will pay.
      • Specifes the item's default purchasing, stocking, and sale units.
      • Records taxable and non-taxable sales accounts for an unlimited number of sales tax keys.
      • Records an unlimited number of vendors that sell the item along with pricing and ordering information.
      • Records an unlimited number of notes for each inventory item.
    • Inventory Transactions File.

      • Used to record and process you inventory transactions, such as sales and purchases.

      • Used to record actual quantities of inventory items during a physical count.
      • Records the count for an unlimited number of inventory items in an unlimited number of warehouses.
      • Items may be sorted by ley or bin location.
      • Displays both the expected and actual quantities.
    • Price Codes File.
      • View Screen(s)
      • Used to define your company's pricing policies on the inventory items you sell.
      • Records an unlimited number of price code records.
      • Each price code record specifies price tables for an unlimited number of customer types.
      • Price calculations choose the price code based on the inventory item and then price table based on the customer type so price policy can be customized for particular items and particular customers.
      • Price tables can calculate prices based on the 5 retail or 5 sale prices, or the average or last cost.
      • Price can be marked up or discounted by a percent based on the quantity purchased.
    • Commission Codes File.

      • Used to define your company's commision calculation policies on the inventory items you sell.
      • Records an unlimited number of commission code records.
      • Each commision code record specifies calculation tables for an unlimited number of sales rep types.
      • Commision calculations choose the commission code based on the inventory item and then the calculation table based on the sales rep type so price policy can be customized for particular items and particular sales reps.
      • Calculation tables can calculate prices based on the sale price or the profit.
      • Commission percent can be determined based on the quantity purchased.
    • Inventory Departments File.

      • Used to define the departments your company uses to catagorize the items in its inventory.
      • Records an unlimited number of departments.
      • Records taxable and non-taxable sales accounts for an unlimited number of sales tax keys.
    • Inventory Warehouse File.

      • Used to define the warehouses where your company stocks inventory items.
      • Records an unlimited number of warehouses.
    • Inventory Units File.

      • Used to define the units (like feet or pounds) your company uses in its inventory
      • Records an unlimited number of units.
      • Records abbreviations for the units that will appear on reports where space may be limited.
  • I/C Reports.
    • Inventory Reorder Report.
      • Prints inventory items whose quantity has fallen below the reorder level.
      • Report can be detailed by warehouse.
      • Report may be filtered by warehouse key, last vendor key, category, department key, and item status.
      • Analysis can be based on quantity in stock or the effective quantity.
    • Inventory Usage Report.
      • Reports inventory usage over a specified date range. level.
      • Report shows the quantity used, retail amount, cost, margin, and margin percent.
      • Two levels of detail.
      • Report may be filtered by warehouse key, last vendor key, category, department key, and item status.
    • Stock Status Report.
      • Reports the quantity in stock of of the inventory items and flags items that should be reordered or that are out of stock.
      • User may choose the contents of 6 columns that appear in the report.
      • Report can be detailed by warehouse.
      • Two levels of detail.
      • Report may be filtered by warehouse key, last vendor key, category, department key, and item status.
    • Inventory Price Book.
      • Prints a report suitable for providing to your customers that displays the price for each inventory item in each quantity group.
      • Report can dislay the cost of each item. The cost may be coded so that the customer cannot learn the cost.
      • Report may be filtered by warehouse key, last vendor key, category, department key, and item status.
    • Inventory Price Sheet.
      • Prints a report suitable for providing to your customers that displays the price for each inventory item.
      • Report dislays two columns of prices that can be choosen by the user
      • Report may be filtered last vendor key, category, department key, and item status.
    • Inventory Price List.
      • Prints a report that displays each item's cost, price, last vendor.
      • Report may be filtered by last vendor key, category, department key, and item status.
    • Physical Count Worksheet.
      • Prints a worksheet that can be used when performing an inventory physcial count. The worksheet shows the expected quantity in stock for each item and has space for writting in the actual quantity and the name or initials of the employee checking.
      • Report can detail items by warehouse and can sort items by bin location.
      • Report may be filtered by warehouse key, last vendor key, category, department key, and item status.
    • Inventory Valuation Report.
      • Reports the value of each item in inventory
      • Report shows the quantity in stock, committed, on order, and in production for each item as well as its value
      • Report may be filtered by warehouse key, last vendor key, category, department key, and item status.
      • LIFO/FIFO history may be printed to show the value of each individual item currently in stock.
    • Inventory Item Transaction History Report.
      • Prints a history of transactions over a specified date range.
      • Users may specify the types of transactions to be printed.

      • Prints forms that can be used to record the inventory items used on a job.
      • Report lists inventory items and has blanks for recording the quantity taken from inventory, and quantity returned to inventory.

    • Inventory Cost Analysis Report.
      • Reports the quantity and cost of items in stock, on order, committed and in production.
      • Report may be filtered by last vendor key, category, department key, and item status.
    • Physcical Count Valuation Report.
      • Reports the expected quantiy, actual quantity, expected value, and actual value of each item in the physcial count file.
      • Report may be filtered by warehouse key, category, and department key.
    • Print Labels for Items Received.
      • Prints price labels and bin labels for items received reported in the Inventory Transactions File.
      • Report may be filtered by warehouse key or department key.
      • User may select to print bin labels, if desired.
      • User can specify if the price should appear on the labels.
      • Cost may be printed on labels in a code that prevents customers from learning the cost.
